PERIOD ARCHITECTURAL WALL PANELS


Our luxury prefabricated period style wall panels can help you discover the hidden Palace or Chateau just waiting to be released in every room of your 
home or office. Choose from a variety of insets such as mirrored or antique mirrored, finely finished furniture grade wood or furniture grade
wood with hand inlaid designs in marquetry, parquetry or perhaps your own "special" choice might be Boulle or inlaid brass.  The upper area of each panel 
features a French "trumeau" style painting with a 17th or 18th century subject. This area may also be customized if needed with the same choice of
inset as the lower panel, a different choice of inset or perhaps your own personal choice of artwork and subject matter.

Dramatic arched or squared openings easily go from just visually appealing to absolutely BREATHTAKING!



Mirrored insets are just the thing to gracefully capture the warm light emanating from this beautiful
crystal chandelier and spread it around the room.  If you've ever wondered why so many mirrors or mirrored
areas are seen in classic 17th and 18th centutry rooms it was for this reason.  Mirrors easily captured
the candlelight and helped bathe the entire room with light.
 


This is CUSTOMIZATION on it's highest level and with it comes an opportunity to have fun and show
off your creativity and style.  Remember, there will never be another room anywhere,
exactly like the one you created.



Our luxury architectural wall panels are all hand crafted. You will NEVER find anything like this at your
 neighborhood home or decor center, no matter how sophisticated they pretend to be.



Each set of panels ordered are custom fabricated by hand specifically for the room in which they
will ultimately be installed.

This should be fairly easy for most people so if you'd like to take a stab at it please e-mail your answer to
contest@galerieversailles.com . Along with your guess, please include an explanation of how or why you arrived
at the person you did. Your explanation can be as short as few words or as long as you care to make it. We kindly
request you try to exercise a reasonable amount of civility in your explanation (residents of Chicago are of
course exempt from any request for civility)



When delivered, each panel is marked to indentify it's exact location within the room which is also shown
on a separate diagram of the room.  



A bronze wall sconce sharing it's golden rays of light while nestled against a carefully finished furniture
quality panel featuring a classic marquetry inlaid design all working thier "magic" together to create a
visual scene your guests will not soon forget.



Here you're able to get a much better idea of the unique look of the furniture grade wood insets with
marquetry inlays.  This is  just one possibilty among an almost limitless variety of choices you have available. 



If your carpenter or installer can read at a third grade level and can match basic numbers
he or she will have traveled 50% of the way towards the completion of your project. If not,
you can always get your 9 year old to help supervise
(No 9 year old? Well, you can always get your husband involved.)



Smaller panels or wainscoting intended to be used under a chair rail or on the lower 1/4 or 1/3 of a
wall to complete that "finished" look are also available.  If you choose, these panels may be
customized with a variety of insets as well.



How about crown moulding like this? With diffused lighting conveniently hidden behind it,
the ambiance in this room just won't stop.



A FEW ADDED WORDS ABOUT THESE CUSTOMIZED WALL PANELS

a) Quality does not come quickly nor does it come cheaply. Since each project is created by hand, the average time needed for fabrication,
 shipping, and delivery of your panels will vary.  However, please be prepared and be expecting a wait of approximately 3 - 4 months.
There is a consolation of course......no one will have ANYTHING approaching the statement you will have made once your room or rooms are completed.

b) For added accuracy, all required measurements should be called out in centimenters if at all possible.

b)  Payment in full for your order less any shipping charges and sales tax, if any, is due at the time your order is placed with us. Any balance due for
shipping or sales tax is due prior to shipment to your requested destination.
           
c)  All sales are final.  There are no refunds, exchanges or showroom credits for any reason.  These are custom items which cannot be resold to anyone else.

c)  We will gladly accept responsibity for any error or mistake that is our fault.  However, please do not ask us to accept responsibility for any 
error or mistake that you have made.
